Update...
Well, it's going to be a good weekend. Viewing party here at home tonight and then leaving for Texas to have a large viewing down there. Hope to sell lots of copies of Nothing Sacred.
Today is the last day for naming the contest. Email me your entries today cause we'll name it this weekend and release the final product next weekend May 30. This currently unnamed mixtape is available for preorder now for $6. It goes up to $8 on release day.
Contest winner should expect to be contacted on Friday or Saturday for shipping the next week.
We'll be adding an additional $2 to all international sales. Just be forewarned. Shipping internationally is becomming expensive.
Hope everyone has a f***ed up ... i mean, exciting and fun Memorial Day weekend... we will, suffering in the Texas heat, playing frisbee golf with all the wonderful Texicans we know and love... especially the ones that buy a copy of Nothing Sacred at the viewing party.

Public Viewing...
So i'm having a viewing party this Friday for Nothing Sacred. Be sure to stop by this weekend to see the comments i received from the viewing public on this one. They will also get to see a short preview of the new and unnamed mixtape to come out later this month or early June. If you haven't sent in a title entry for the 2nd movie, hurry and do so. We (the Aftershock Media team) will be discussing the ones submitted on Friday.

Our 2nd production is almost done and we are now in the naming stage. So here's the contest plan. The trailer is viewable. Watch it and email us an idea for a title for this mixtape. Still working...
First of all, there are still DVDR copies of 'Nothing Sacred' Vol. 1 available. It comes with the Soundtrack on CDR and this is the only place i'll offer the soundtrack. Your donation of $10 gets you both. For those wondering what the donation will be used for, it covers the disc(s), packaging and shipping. If there is any funds left over, they will be used for purchasing VHS, DVD, Laserdiscs and Beta tapes for future works.
Speaking of future works, we are still working. More projects already in the works. Some less obscene than 'Nothing Sacred', which by the way, Volume 2 is being discussed. We are upgrading digital software to Sony Vegas for a better viewing experience with future releases. 'Nothing Sacred' 1 was made with AVS Video Editor 4 and Adobe Audition for sound and it is VERY limited in effects and such. We couldn't do what we really wanted to do with it but it will be kept for use by less knowledgable members of the team to use for their works.
McSleezy and I, currently laid off from our real world jobs, will have plenty of time to work on projects. 'Pedobear's Epic Fail Tape' form McSleezy himself is still in the works as far as i know. I'm going to have to get in his grill and see where he stands with that.
/b/ Curran's project, 'The Punk Rock Porno' is temporarily on hold while he upgrades his system to handle video work. It's a long ass drive for him to come out to the Aftershock studios everytime he needs to cut/paste/edit.
Our 'Reality Bits' compilation mentioned in an earlier blog post, which was to include real footage of death, rape, murder and suicide, has been called off for now. There is enough of that shit going on in the world, we don't need to see it uncensored. An all bizzarre Anime/Hentai/Manga mixtape was discussed but not really followed up on. If anyone has an interest in seeing something of that nature, we'd like to hear from you.

Almost there
It's been a minute since an update but we're hard at work right now. About half way done with post-production editing of 'Nothing Sacred' and things are comming along smoothly. The way things are going, it might be done by Monday and ready for the team to screen next weekend.
How cool would that be to release it early? It would be the shiznit!. For rizeal. Okay, enough with the slang talk, i hate that shit, but never the less, thats your update for today. Now i'm going to bed cause i've got some catching up to do on my beauty sleep. This wart is growing on side of my face that won't go away unless i can get at least 1o hours of Z's tonight.
If you're a video mixtape maker, and have something in production, we want your trailer. Yes, Aftershock Media will include your trailer in our mixtape, at no charge, with no questions asked. All we want in return is the chance to put our future trailers in your mixtapes if we're all working on one at the same time.
Same offer for the bands. If you have a music video you want to add to our feature, by all means, send it our way.
For both mixtape trailers and music videos, please make sure it has your website or myspace address in it so viewers can find you and check out what you're into. We're spreading the world, one video at a time. Email me at aftershock dot remix at gmail dot com for info or to submit.
